The Gospel Of Christ Reflects The Heart Of God

If the gospel of Jesus Christ was “law” it would be discouraging and destructive.

But it’s not “law” and it’s not “religion.”

The gospel of Christ reflects the heart of God which we can only know by submitting our lives to Christ.

That’s why we are Christians… followers of Christ… to know the heart of God as we are established on the solid foundation of His word.

There is no other lasting and sure foundation… it really is an immovable platform under our feet so to speak… that as long as we are ready to submit to, our hearts will be secure… even through great shaking may come.

Revelation 1:17-19

And when I saw Him, I fell at His feet as dead. But He laid His right hand on me, saying to me, “Do not be afraid; I am the First and the Last. I am He who lives, and was dead, and behold, I am alive forevermore. Amen. And I have the keys of Hades and of Death. Write the things which you have seen, and the things which are, and the things which will take place after this.

John 8:6-8

They were using this question as a trap, in order to have a basis for accusing him.

But Jesus bent down and started to write on the ground with his finger. When they kept on questioning him, he straightened up and said to them, “Let any one of you who is without sin be the first to throw a stone at her.” Again he stooped down and wrote on the ground.
