Step Into My Life And Circumstances

Now Moses was tending the flock of Jethro his father-in-law, the priest of Midian, and he led the flock to the far side of the wilderness and came to Horeb, the mountain of God. There the angel of the Lord appeared to him in flames of fire from within a bush. Moses saw that though the bush was on fire it did not burn up. So Moses thought, “I will go over and see this strange sight—why the bush does not burn up.”

When the Lord saw that he had gone over to look, God called to him from within the bush, “Moses! Moses!”

And Moses said, “Here I am.”

Exodus 3:1-4

  • The Lord can intercept our lives at any moment in a multitude of ways.
  • Moses was just going about his business when God appeared to him.
  • God can reveal Himself to you on ordinary days while doing ordinary things.
  • He does this because He cares for us and He wants to touch and use our lives.

PRAYER:
Lord, as I go about my daily responsibilities, I invite You to step into my life and circumstances. Help me to be alert and attentive to You so that I will not miss the moment when You come and make Yourself real to me.
Amen

Trust In The Lord

They wilfully put God to the test
    by demanding the food they craved.
They spoke against God;
    they said, ‘Can God really
    spread a table in the wilderness?
True, he struck the rock,
    and water gushed out,
    streams flowed abundantly,
but can he also give us bread?
    Can he supply meat for his people?’

Psalm 78:18-20

We (I) need to be mindful to not subconsciously think like what the psalmist described in Psalm 78:18-20. The balance of the psalm warns why – the wrath we face for an ungrateful, greedy or disbelieving heart.

We need to trust in Him even if our faith feels weak and we don’t see how He is going to answer our cries for help. If we are unsure or worried about whether God will see us through, we should strengthen our belief (Mark 9:24) and ask the Lord to help us with our unbelief. Our Father is capable of all things, including those we are unable to fathom.

Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”
Matthew 19:26

It’s always worth remembering that God has a plan for our lives regardless of our current situation. Yes, regardless of our current situation! He can work through all things to prosper us and give us a hope and a future. (Jeremiah 29:11)

I encourage you to stand strong in your faith during the difficult situations you face. He will see you through.

He says, “Be still, and know that I am God;
