It’s Good To Reflect

When I do, I can see that I owe much to those ahead of me on my “Christian Road”.

I used to have a only knowledge of Christ now I have living hope.

The gospel became mine.

The hope and victory it brings are mine because of the price paid by someone else.

Let’s pay the price today for someone else.

What is that price?
It’s to carry a heart of grace.

In what currency is it paid?
It’s paid through a surrendered life.

Matthew 20:28
..the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many.

The Gospel Of Christ Reflects The Heart Of God

If the gospel of Jesus Christ was “law” it would be discouraging and destructive.

But it’s not “law” and it’s not “religion.”

The gospel of Christ reflects the heart of God which we can only know by submitting our lives to Christ.

That’s why we are Christians… followers of Christ… to know the heart of God as we are established on the solid foundation of His word.

There is no other lasting and sure foundation… it really is an immovable platform under our feet so to speak… that as long as we are ready to submit to, our hearts will be secure… even through great shaking may come.

Praise to God for a Living Hope

1 Peter 1:3-9

Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,

and into an inheritance that can never perish, spoil or fade. This inheritance is kept in heaven for you,

who through faith are shielded by God’s power until the coming of the salvation that is ready to be revealed in the last time.

In all this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while you may have had to suffer grief in all kinds of trials.

These have come so that the proven genuineness of your faith—of greater worth than gold, which perishes even though refined by fire—may result in praise, glory and honor when Jesus Christ is revealed.

Though you have not seen him, you love him; and even though you do not see him now, you believe in him and are filled with an inexpressible and glorious joy,

for you are receiving the end result of your faith, the salvation of your souls.

Through suffering we rejoice, for we have:

  • A loving Hope
  • An eternal inheritance
  • A powerful Protector
  • A proven faith
  • An ongoing salvation
